Most elaborate movie stunt ever?

Perhaps Yakima Canutt was the Dar Robinson of his day. He did perhaps one of the most dangerous cinematic stunts in a movie serial called “Zorro’s Fighting Legion” (1939). In episode 7 he rides his horse next to a runaway stagecoach. He jumps from his horse onto a stagecoach horse. He then proceeds to go underneath the horses and the stagecoach and climbs up the back of the stagecoach. Needless to say extremely dangerous.

And of course this type of stunt was ahem… “borrowed” for a similar scene with a truck in “Raiders of the Lost Ark”

For what it’s worth, I have no idea how that stunt was filmed, I merely assume it’s CGI (or CGI-enhanced) because, frankly, that type of stunt is humanly impossible.

Elvishly possible, maybe…

No, Im guessing your right, now that i think about it, I mean surely stunt person would end up trampled by the horse?
