# Most excellent birthday present

My kids got together, and got tickets for me to go see John Cleese before he dies. One of my kids is also going. (The daughter I’m going with is as big a Monty Python fan as I am.) I am so excited, and as fast as the tickets sold out, I’m surprised she was able to get them!

July 4th, 2014 my wife and I were in London for the Monty Python Live (Mostly) reunion show at the O2. It was terrific. Enjoy!

Just curious, where are you seeing him?

Not sure why this struck me as funny as it did: maybe the implication that this is one of the last shows before Cleese starts getting ready for his big decomposition tour. Frankly, I think “John Cleese: Before he Dies” would make a hell of a poster.

We’re seeing him in Tel Aviv.
