# Most excruciatingly boring Olympic event?

Sarajevo was 1984. I remember up-close-and-personal segments at least as far back as 1976.

Another page? There can’t possibly be another frealin’ page!  
Anyway, **MaxTheVool** , most of the other sports are all based on some people trying desperately to put something where some other people just as desperately don’t want it.  
Baseball’s maybe the worst. If _nobody_ scores, they by god keep going on and on till somebody _does_. And what’s the goal? The freakin’ catchers glove.  
Argh! 😉

You obviously missed the thread in 2000 when I bet **Arnold Winklereid** a tin of maple syrup against some Swiss chocolate bars on the outcome of the Women’s World Curling championship. We were posting bulletins throughout the entire game.

It was three hours of sheer drama, man.

Canada won, natch. 🙂

After the curling they should have a straightening event, to undo the damage they’ve done to someone’s hair, all in the name of sport. Inhuman.
