Well, it’s hard to top “My Humps”, but I’ve always been partial to [Tic Tac Toe,](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLZVdNenXlA&feature=related) which I first encountered when I bought a CD titled, and no I am not ashamed, “Monster Booty”. It gives the distinct impression that it’s written and performed by one of those twelve year old boys with the sad little moustache who doesn’t know nearly as much about the ladeeez as he’d like you to think, and the whole thing has this tic tac toe… theme, because it isn’t a metaphor, because it has absolutely no point. A sample: Just when things started to feel good We rolled a little fast ‘cause we broke the wood My dad got up ‘cause he thought he heard some knockin’ Thought it was a crook - me and Judy was rockin’ Came up to my room and opened the door “Son, what you doin?!” “Playin’ tic tac toe!” There’s also gratuitous mentions of Benzes and how girls are really impressed when they see your car phone. ---

I gotta go with[Christmas Shoes](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNsvE33pRSw). I dare you to watch the video. Any respect you had for Rob Lowe for West Wing or Brothers and Sisters will be gone. It will create a black hole that will suck in respect for anyone near, as well. As a special side note: I let my kids pick out whatever they want for my parents. My son picked out shoes for my mom. As the song is a running joke in my family I added a quick note: “mom, try not to meet Jesus tonight…” ---

I’d have to say [The Most Unwanted Music](http://www.diacenter.org/km/musiccd.html), but it’s _intentionally_ bad. It’s a song that was designed to be as unlikeable as possible according to survey data. You can listen to it [here](http://blog.wired.com/music/2008/04/a-scientific-at.html), but prepare yourself for 20 minutes of hilarious torture. ---

I’ve recently become fascinated by “Casey Kasem’s American Top 40–The 70s” lately. The program takes countdown shows from the '70s, and replays them from start to finish. The songs are usually great but there are still some doozies: “Dark Lady”, Cher. Song about a half-white/half-Indian girl who’s rejected by both communities. Cher sings it in such a overwrought style it’s comedy gold. Plus isn’t she Armenian? “Are You Lonesome Tonight”, a young Donny Osmond. Need I say more? “Run Joey Run”, David Geddes. Pompously narrated song about a man who’s so desperate to keep his daughter from her boyfriend that he accidentally kills her. When a female vocalist shrieks “we’re gonna get married soon” I dare you not to break out laughing. ---
