I’ve seen something which strongly resembled the _[Coyote X](https://imcdb.org/vehicle_8433-Made-for-Movie-Coyote.html)_ from “Hardcastle & McCormick”. Must’ve been a [Manta.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manta_Cars) Not a car but certainly interesting: > **[Pedal Bars in Arlington, VA | Pedal Saloon](https://pedalsaloon.com/arlington/)** > > The best pedal bar tours in Arlington, Virginia. I gotta admit it’s interesting! OK for Miami but not too good in San Francisco. ---

Come to think of it, I used to pass by a certain used car dealer during my commute. The place had a number of classics on their lot, most notably a '56 [Clipper.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Packard_Clipper#Separate_marque:_1956) ---

A guy in my county owns one (or at least a replica). I’ve never seen it on the road, but I have seen it at the service place where Mrs. Dub takes her car. ---

Would you happen to have any pictures of your friend Jim Cranks 1918 Stanley? Reason I am asking is I am good friends with a guy that just purchased that car at auction and I am collecting everything I can on the history of the car for him. ---

Sorry, I don’t believe we ever took pictures. Something we should have done. ---

On a trip to London many years ago as we were walking down the sidewalk my wife tapped my arm and said “Look at that!” There was a sofa sitting in traffic, with a couple of guys aboard, one driving with a pizza. I was so startled I couldn’t raise my camera in time. Fortunately there are YouTube videos of this interesting creation: [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/aBrpy2iEvSQ/hqdefault.jpg "Amazing | Edd China | Sofa Car") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBrpy2iEvSQ) [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/most-interesting-car-ever-seen-on-the-road/947198.md?page=2)
