While I don’t wish them ill, I wouldn’t piss on them if their heads were on fire. [Environmentalists](http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/04/democratic-party-platform-climate-change-environment_n_1854579.html) were a key part of the Democratic platform. It was less vocal then after Gore’s Oscar winning performance as an animatronic doomsayer but was still there. The problem is with the party platform, not the members. IMHO the bulk of people who identify as conservatives are RINO and are really fiscal and national security conservatives while socially moderate. Unfortunately the money and publicity pushes the extremist agenda in an attempt to be more anti-Obama.
