Hey **BrainGlutton** , are you (post 36) and I (post 5) both thinking of Burt Lancaster as Maj. Asa Barker in _Go Tell the Spartans_? Haven’t seen this one for a while, but IIRC the character’s dying words, or close to 'em, are … “Pike! Pike!” ---
