Gary Gilmore’s last words in _The Executioner’s song_ (and real life) were **Let’s do it.** Is this it, or something else?

I was actually going for Sgt. Barnes’ last words in _Platoon_.

I’ll wait an hour or so and then reveal the others.

Oliver Reed in _Gladiator_. Extra poignant because he died during filming and they had to reuse that line from earlier in the movie.
I’ll go ahead and answer mine:

“…came…from…behind…” - Porkins, _Star Wars_

“We all gotta die. It’s just a matter of when.” - John Russell, _Hombre_

“Prove it.” - Jack Wilson, _Shane_

Was that at the end of _Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry_ a microsecond before the train comes out of nowhere and clobbers them?

Sorry, folks… “Wait! Wait!” comes from neither _Unforgiven_ nor _8mm_. If I recall correctly, I can expand the clue a bit…

“They’re too close!”
(Quick cut to another character)
“Wait! Wait!”
**BOOM!**

Why yes. Yes it is. And I must say that I’m more than a little concerned that there’s someone else who has seen this movie.

And recalls the final line not only of the principals but the final line of dialogue in the entire movie.

“Just like fuckin’ Saigon ain’t it, Slick?”
"I was in junior high, dickhead. "

The last message David Bowman transmits to Discovery in the movie _2010_. The line was never used in _2001_.

also Gary Oldman as Zorg in _The Fifth Element_.

Here’s this character’s real last words, since no one’s gotten it in 3 pages:
“No. There… is… another… Sky… walk… er.”

Those were Dave Bowman’s last words according to _2010_, but I don’t think he actually said it in _2001_. At least not in the movie, it might have been in the novel - anybody remember?
