Anything emo. Especially Fall Out Boy or All-American Rejects. That whiny mess that was in some unbelievably contrived way derived from punk rock just makes me want to punch right through the speakers. It’s the first genre of music that I don’t “get” and I’m not even 30 yet.

I have always been amazed at how many people love The Smashing Pumpkins. I know that different people have different tastes, but some things sounds universally awful, for example a train coming off the tracks and tumbling into a ravine. The Smashing Pumpkins is like that.

I’m no fan of that song, but I’d like to know what your reasons are just to compare notes. 🙂
You’ve got to be long in the tooth to remember this song, but back in the 80’s there was a song called “Double dutch bus” (don’t know the artist). I HATED it. everyone else I knew loved it, convincing me that they were all easily entertained idiots.
There was also that song about passing a joint to the left hand side or something. Hated it too.

Frankie Smith and Pass the Dutchie.
The “Dutchie” isn’t necesarily a joint. It’s been retrofitted by the pot-smoking community to mean that, though.
