Mark Hanna, a semi-obscure 19th century American politician. I hate that guy. I’ve expanded on it before, but I believe that rant is now part of Our Winter of Missed Content. I’d like to say it was a thing of beauty, but mostly it wasn’t. But man, Hanna was a jerk. ---

This is gonna sound funny, but the only guy I can think of hating right now, I have never even met. I don’t even know much about him. All I know, is he used to go out with this great girl I know, and from what I understand, he is a complete and total asshole. I don’t mean your run of the mill asshole, I mean a REAL asshole. I don’t even know the guy, but I harbor this strange hatred of him. ---

Actually, I just found out (moments ago) that I’m currently some other guy’s random obscure object of hatred. I went out with a girl twice, and then broke things off, because she isn’t quite wired to code, so to speak. Then she starts dating a coworker of a good friend of mine. At lunch today this person (not knowing that my friend knows me) starts telling him about how much of an dickhead I am, because of a whole bunch of random stuff that never happened. Anyway, I have an active dislike for Keith Ledger, even though I can’t explain it at all. It’s such an obscure hate that not even I know where it comes from. ---

The most obscure person? That would be the woman driving the Ford Expedition in front of me on the way to work today. Those things are \* huge \* and you can’t see around them. As she turned off to the left into a strip mall, I looked at the vehicle (\* up \* at the vehicle) and thought, “Geez, that’s a stupidly big vehicle. I dislike anyone who owns one. Specifically _you_.” Mind you, this isn’t one of those hates that rages with the light of a 1000 suns. More of a 650 nm laser diode. ---

If I ever meet former Deputy Secretary of State Elliot Abrams, I’m gonna kick him in the goddamned nuts. Also, our current “President”, George W. Bush. I think he’s stupid rather than evil, but there’s no excuse for seeking and accepting an office that important if you’re not up for it. Is it still legal to say you hate the President? Oh, yeah, I hate John Ashcroft, too. It’s not just a matter of disagreeing on political issues; he’s trying to subvert the constitutional republic I love. I hope he dies soon. Oh, and the guys who burglarized and burned down my home back in 1986. Otherwise, I don’t hate a lot of people. ---

Let me just include the assholes who torched my place. They only stole a tv and a stereo; the idiots left to burn hundreds of books, some of which are now rare and worth money.
