[Kate Beckinsale](http://www.awfulplasticsurgery.com/archives/003633.html) is a sad example of a beautiful young actress who fucked with perfection. She apparantly got the upper lip implant that is supposed to eliminate a “gummy” smile, but it instead makes you look like a kid hiding a piece of orange rind in your mouth. She also got really bad boob implants. I’ve never understood all the negativity directed at Pam Anderson. Other than her boobs (which she openly discusses), what has she had done? Why all the references to her being “plastic”? I think Liv Tyler and Lindsay Lohann have much worse breast implants, but they get a free pass. Pam appears to be a freakishly naturally thin woman, with a naturally pretty face, and breast implants. I don’t think she’s doing herself any favors with the plucked, pencil thin eyebrow look, though. ---

I saw Jerry Orbach on PBS hawking for the pledge drive a few months before he died… It’s a shame the thousands he spent on surgery was essentially wasted. He looked frightening. ---

Lara Flynn Boyle was sporting the now cliche puffy-lipped/frozen face look on Conan recently. Always found it odd that people who supposedly are in the business of expressing emotion would undergo proceedures which deny that ability. On the other hand, Jodie Foster is probably the best example of successful work I have seen. She looked great in her recent promotional shot on Letterman. ---

Another example of good, subtle work is Jenna Jameson (stay with me, here). She had almost no chin, and her profile really suffered for it. She got a chin implant and is now a very attractive woman. The pontoons she carries on her chest _may_ be a bit overdone, though… ---
