> [@AutumnLeaves](#): > > “The great tall tailor always comes. To little boys that suck their thumbs”. That’s Struwwelpeter right there, though apparently repackaged. I’d say the _Dragnet_ TV show (“Domm-Da-Domm-Domm!”). For example: [![]( " - YouTube") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0zgIzqgxFU) I was unable to find the clip where the baby drowns in the bathtub. ---

Remember on _Saved By The Bell,_, when Jessie got addicted to CAFFEINE PILLS!!! At least give her something decent to get addicted to. I mean even Alex P Keaton took his neighbors uppers. ---

I’d have to say the film **Requiem for a Dream**. What’s that, you say? It was aimed at adults? Coulda fooled me. ---

The Who once recorded a song “Little Billy” for the American Cancer society about a young boy who doesn’t smoke while his friends do. When they grow up, they get cancer, while Billy doesn’t and gets to raise their kids. Surprisingly, the ACS didn’t like this song and it was later released in the mid70s on the outtakes album “Odds and Sods”. Taking Drivers Ed in the early 1970s, they decided to show us “Signal 30”…a traffic safety film by the Ohio State police showing lots of dead bodies/gore from those seat belt/air bag-less 1950s. ---

Oh, lord, that one sticks with me more than 40 years later. Particularly bad was the truck driver whose load of pipes had shifted. He was squashed in such a way that the portions of the body you saw bulged… ---

IIRC, didn’t Regina also have a heart murmur? (god, I can’t believe I remember this bullshit) Oh, and she didn’t know any ASL, but she could read lips, so no one who met her knew she was deaf!!! Okay, I’ll probably think of some later, but I’m off to bed. ---

This starts a bit slow, but descends into bizarre NSFW gore later on: [German truck safety gore.](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-hz1GpFpXA) Not sure if it is entirely serious to begin with, though. ---
