Right on the side of Big Wally. Also inside the ear, inside the nostril. Eyebrow zits are also oddly painful. ---

Inside the nose? tip of the nose? I had both due to the same problem. A spot started to emerge over the course of a week until it turned the tip of my nose into red, raging, pounding agony that hurt so badly that I didn’t want to talk or move my face in any way. So painful that I couldn’t bear examining it to find the source and deal with it. Anyhow, it came to a head when it “eventually” came to a head and I gingerly picked at it with sterilised tweezers. A tiny black dot appeared through the pus and a gentle tug pulled out an inch long, tightly curled nasal hair. It had obviously become ingrown and pushed right the way through my nose and out the other side. The relief was immense. It was so painful that, even now I reckon I may take one of the more graphic genital zits in preference to another one of those buggers. ---

Mine isn’t so much weirdest location as it is weirdest presentation. My nose hurt to touch for about a week. There were no indications that anything was wrong other than being painful. No redness, no swelling, no black/white heads. I noticed that if I pressed down it eased the pain some. So I was pressing down and suddenly “BLAM BLAM BLAM” three splashes across my glasses, puss and blood mixture. So I took my my fingers and squeezed my whole nose and got the core to pop out. Where all that puss was hiding, I have no clue, but once I got it popped it healed up in just a couple days. ---

We really have no idea why butt zits and hemorrhoids and anal fissures not only don’t get infected all that often, but tend to heal up more quickly than, say, face pimples. Makes no sense, but our bodies evolved some real wisdom there somehow. If we can find out how/why, we might make some amazing advances in wound care. (But who wants to write a grant proposal for butt zit research? 😃 ) Just on the boarder of inside the nose and on the upper lip is the worstest, in terms of pain and longevity. ---

One theory is that when they aren’t occupied anywhere else, your immune cells tend to hang out in your pelvic region. I’ve never had a zit in a really ungodly place. I guess I did have one just at the border of an areola, while I was pregnant. I think I even started a thread asking what to do when I couldn’t get it to come to a head and pop. ---

I’ve gotten them inside the ear, inside the nose, but the worst place for sheer annoyance value was right in the middle of my back, _just_ outside of where I could get pressure on it with my fingers, no matter how much I stretched. Drove me nuts as it got bigger and bigger, until I finally broke down and went after it with a pair of chopsticks, using the big ends as “pushers.” The relief when it blew was tremendous. ---

I get tiny little bumps on my scrotum every so often and they hurt like hell. The worst are those which brush against my clothing. I’ve actually been kept home because one of these things prevented me from getting dressed! ---

I’m not sure which the labia majora is, but I get marble-like cysts? blobs? on my inner thighs and sometimes in my pubic area. They aren’t traditional pimples because when I squeeze them they don’t break through the skin very much at all but I can feel them let go inside the skin. ---

I’ve had them on the back of my ear or on my earlobe every now and again, always very painful, but a few weeks ago I had one inside my ear. That was beyond awful. Fortunately I’ve never had any on the schlong, though I have had one on the ol goodiebag a few times. Frankly, the ear ones are way worse than those. ---

Labia ones are the worst - I had one that was an ingrown hair that happened due to a trim job growing out. It exploded in a movie theatre bathroom when I was wiping, and I had to pack my undies with tissue to keep the oozing from getting through. I had just enough time to think, “What is that bump, and why is it so painful?” when it popped so hard I could almost hear it. Lots of blood and thick, icky goop. I had to pop it again after the movie, because the pressure came back and it was too painful to walk. More blood and infected goop. Ick. Awful, embarrassing and gross. Ugh. ---

Was embarrassed to have one when I had an annual physical awhile back. The nurse commented that a warm compress would help it go down. I didn’t tell her that I’m one of those weirdos who love popping zits and that a warm compress would take away all the fun. I was disappointed when the last one went away on its own. I can’t leave a scab alone either. :o ---

That’s a blocked oil gland. I spent the morning of 9/11 having one of those removed from a hairy area…my scalp. I have a couple others in my scalp area right now, but I don’t feel they need to be removed. That one was approaching golfball size and was visible through my hair. In my case, it also grew back because they entire capsule hadn’t been removed the first time. This time, the plastic surgeon could just pop it out. He admitted himself that he thought those things were gross.
