I don’t like thinking of Reagan and Nixon as “mostly dead.” That leaves room for improvement. ---

My two thoughts on seeing the Democratic president paintings: 1. Obama’s in the pool one, and yet Woodrow “I segregated the Federal civil service” Wilson hasn’t suddenly remembered an appointment he had elsewhere. :rolleyes: 2. In both of them, one of these men is _not_ like the others – and I don’t mean Obama. 🙂 ---

In the Republican pool one - Abe’s not nearly tall enough, and it’s interesting that they show the two Bush’s palling around. The story was always that GW didn’t much care for dad (and vice versa?), but they may have made up since GW quit drinking. ---

Come to think of it though, why go to all the trouble of modifying a painting where Palin _isn’t_ at the table and have her sitting at the table, just to make the point that she doesn’t belong at the table? I think we’re missing a step here … a painting that includes Palin, but doesn’t have her holding her cards backwards. ---
