I am so sorry as well. It’s something I haven’t experienced yet, I can’t imagine the pain. Try and eat and sleep as best you can, you’ll need your own health to deal with this. ---

Seconding what **Baker** said. You still need to eat, sleep, work, pay the bills, wash the dishes, and all of that. Do be sure to set aside some time to have a bit of a cry when you need to though. That’s more than just “okay”; it’s very important. Meh. What am I saying? You’ll know what to do, even if you think you don’t. Celebrate your mum’s long life, and know that there are lots of folks thinking of you - folks who will be up for a real life hug, and others of us half a world away. ---

Having lost both of my parents, I know this is a very difficult time for you. As far as I know, there’s no way to make the mourning period shorter or easier, and nothing anyone can say that will make it better, but I will certainly be praying that you find some peace soon.
