Even if you don’t want a meaty faggot in your mouth, those with a non-pig diet could make Toad in the Hole with kosher/halal beef or lamb sausages and I’d bet it’d be just as good. I would imagine faggots could be quite readily made with chicken or ox liver, if such is permitted in the diets of those who abstain from pork. Traditionally, faggots would have contained a broader range of offal than just the liver; It’s probably best if I leave it at that. ---
