It’s true: only politicians get to watch broadcast TV. The rest of us huddle in our homes, desperately trying to get a crumb or two of airwaves, with no luck.

Then why, as some have claimed, getting up to go to the bathroom during a commercial considering “stealing”?
I am deeply depressed for the state of my country as well. I used to think it was better, but the more I learn about history, the more I realize that it is, in most ways, better now. Scary thought.
Because the people doing the considering are morons, that’s why. In fact, if you check out the law books, you’ll find out that it’s NOT stealing, more evidence that the politicians AREN’T expropriating the airwaves.
Just because someone calls it stealing don’t make it so.

Yikes–I’m not saying YOU’RE a moron, but I realize it might’ve come off that way. The advertisers whimpering about your walking out of the room are the morons. Or maybe they’re con artists who assume that you’re a moron. Either way, fuck 'em.

I gotcha the first time. No offense intended. None taken :).
Slight aside here, does anyone watch NBC’s “LAX” on Wednesday? The show broadcast on 11/16/2004 had a sceen between Blair Underwood and Heather Locklear that bordered on soft porn and I have read nothing about it.
Enjoyed the show BTW
