Close – it’s the _frenulum._ The one under your tongue is the _lingual frenulum._ ---

Keep in mind that the term frenulum is used in many areas of the body, including the penis. A friend of mine does piercing for a living. She suggested a fenulum piercing. I thought she meant the lingual frenulum, while in fact she meant the penis. Very funny conversation with me asking about how speech would be affected and her telling me if speech was affected it meant she really f@cked up. ---

There’s a coresponding one at your bottom teeth too, I had a frenulectomy 2 weeks ago. It hurt alot! The reason was it was too tight and actually pulling the tissue away from my bottom teeth.
