When an Administrator or Moderator moves a thread to a different forum, there is (unfortunately) no trace of it left in the original location. This topic is therefore where the Administrator/Moderator will let you know that a topic has been moved, and where to, and why. So, as a start: the Original Poster was mdaniels, and [Why two tides with one moon?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=26185) has been moved to the forum COMMENTS ON CECIL’S COLUMNS because, well, it’s a comment on a column by Cecil rather than about a Mailbag Answer. ---
**Author:** ![Czarcasm](https://sea3.discourse-cdn.com/straightdope/user_avatar/boards.straightdope.com/czarcasm/32/4050_2.png) [@Czarcasm](https://boards.straightdope.com/u/Czarcasm)\ **Post date:** [June 2, 2000, 12:13am UTC](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/moved-threads-if-you-cant-find-a-thread-that-was-here/21127/2 "2000-06-02T00:13:04Z")
And apparently, every _other_ thread has been moved to the IMHO forum. Thanks! 🙂 ---
