What I want to know is, what was that black ooze supposed to be coming from the villain’s head when talking on the phone to the “black fireball”. And on the captain’s head when he fires on said “fireball” at the beginning of the movie.

Strictly MHO, but since the “fireball” was supposed to be pure evil, I think the black ooze was the same evil entity reaching out to individual people and influencing them.

The black ooze appeared on the captain’s forehead after the missiles were fired, failed, and the “fireball” started expanding towards the ship. He didn’t order the ship to turn around and withdraw even with the “fireball” coming towards him and the president screaming at him to withdraw not just because he was frightened but because the evil entity was actively stopping him from giving the order. IMHO.

Ok… So the statue had cells in it? Huh? Now I’m really confused.

Apparently the statue was a resting place for the supreme being. The glove found in the wreckage had the last cells for the supreme being, from which Leilu was cloned.

I think the real question is, “Why did Mila Jovovich spend most of the movie dressed like Raggedy Anne?”

I was under the impression it was blood, seen under a light that made it look very dark. My reading was that Zorg’s brain was being scrambled slowly from speaking to such an insanely evil entity.

Well, according to **Guy’s** website link, I’m wrong. Whoops!

jb:

I read an interview with G. Oldman somewhere in which he claimed that he chose to do a southern accent because he envisioned Zorg as – I kid you not – a kind of “science-fiction version” of **Ross Perot.** Apparently, ol’ Ross really creeps Gary out.

Lamia:

As for Mila’s “Raggedy Anne” dress style – I’d say the answer to that question is pretty obvious, wouldn’t you?

Well, since all the questions seem to be answered, I only have one thing to add:

You thought Chris Tucker was RuPaul?!?

The answer to the question “Why was her costume so skimpy?” is pretty obvious, but Raggedy Anne? There can’t be many people with Raggedy Anne fetishes out there, at least I hope not.
