IIRC the man is trapped out in Africa and has to establish dominance over a tribe of baboons because mumble… mumble, well just 'cause.

Anyone remember this one?

It had lots of baboons and lots of rocks.

I searched IMDb for Plot contains baboon, and of the 8 hits, **Sands of the Kalahari** was the most favorable. I don’t think that’s it, though…
