My wife and I blurt out several lines (or single words) in unison when we see certain things in movies. Among these are: “It’s only a model.” (You can guess when.) “Toast!” (Whenever we see toast, usually in Brit productions. Not sure why…) “Fwoosh!” (When a character sweeps everything off a desk or table in anger, or throws something.) “But the bell rang!” (When we need to get going.) “It was…was…soap poisoning!” (When we see someone ill or dying.) “Something REAL nice!” (With a little click of the tongue and hand gesture like Cousin Eddie.) We’ll happily do all of these (and more) in public, including when watching a movie or show at a theater. ---

My late friend and I would take a page from MST3K whenever we’d see two things separated by an Ampersand: 1st: Rest & Relaxation! They’re cops! 2nd: Dammit Rest! This is not your personal war! 1st: RELAXATION’S A GOOD COP! ---
