There’s a funny moment in _Apocalypto_ when a tree falls in front of the group of walking Mayans, and one of them says (in Yucatec Maya): “I’m walkin’ here!” Anyway, here’s a few more I say pretty regularly: “I’m not so sure about your police work, there, Lou” (_Fargo_) “Mynameiswartz?” (_Being John Malkovich_) “Achhay high five!” (_Borat_) ---

I’ll frequently say “I’ll be back” in a schwarzeneggarian monotone when I’m leaving someplace. I’ve used it so often that I’m sometimes surprised when people react to it. We also say “Have Fun Stormin’ the Castle” when one of the household goes out on something adventurous. But not D&D. Pepper Mill hasn’t played an RPG in ages. ---

I don’t do this one in public, but with our son, my wife and I will look at each other and say, “…got lost in his own museum, eh?” It’s from Indy 3 describing how bad at directions Marcus Brody is. ---

I will channel my inner Tor Johnson and state “Time For Go To Bed” before hitting the sack. I will often modify it to fit the task, such as “Time for Make Dinner” or “Time For Go To Gym.” ---

When going to the restroom, I occasionally say “I shall return” in my best imitation of Gregory Peck’s imitation of General MacArthur. As I get older, fewer people find it funny. ---

As a fan of _Murder by Death_ I endlessly quote it (it’s really a dialogue film, as opposed to _Clue_ which is much more physical). “What meaning of this” “This can only mean one thing…and I don’t know what it is” Why me? “Because your mother not here to do it” “I like her, I really like her” And do on, endlessly. ---
