I wasted 3 hours on this 1. Pearl Harbor 2. The Shape of Water 3. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug I love Tolkien; I loved Peter Jackson’s adaptations of The Lord of the Rings. I gritted my teeth through some of the weirdness of An Unexpected Journey, but at the end of Desolation of Smaug, I turned to my wife, and said, “You have got to be fucking kidding me!” (I never bothered to see the third one.) ---

I’m with you, **kenobi**. The _LOTR_ movies were great; the _Hobbit_ movies too often felt like overstuffed video games. I wasted 3 hours on this 1. Pearl Harbor 2. The Shape of Water 3. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug 4. JFK Overlong but, on the other hand, packed with historical inaccuracies. ---

I wasted 3 hours on this 1. Pearl Harbor 2. The Shape of Water 3. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug 4. JFK 5. Wyatt Earp There’s a nice scene where Wyatt meets Doc Holliday for the first time. You can see it on YouTube. There’s no need to bother with the rest. ---

wasted 3 hours on this 1. Pearl Harbor 2. The Shape of Water 3. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug 4. JFK 5. Wyatt Earp 6. First Man 7. Titanic I knew it was a love story before I got dragged to it, but the warning didn’t help the time pass. It was also the last movie I saw in a theater. ---

Magnolia Frogs falling from the sky, and Tom Cruise overacting within an inch of his life. That’s what I remember about those three-plus hours. ---
