Interesting about Better Off Dead because Cussack did One Crazy Summer with the same director a year later. Films later disavowed by a director or cast member 1. Better Off Dead - John Cusack 2. Twilight Zone: The Movie From Wikipedia: Second Assistant Director Anderson House used the pseudonym (Alan Smithee) for the first segment of the film, in which actor Vic Morrow and two children were killed in a helicopter accident during production. This represents a rare instance where the “Alan Smithee” credit was taken by an assistant director. ---
