The King 7. In Bruges A very dark 2008 crime comedy, written and directed by Martin McDonagh (who later did _Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri_). It stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson as a pair of hapless Irish hitmen who’ve been sent to Bruges, Belgium on “vacation,” while their boss (Ralph Fiennes) decides what to do with them.
