X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Deadpool goes from a wisecracking merc to a silent thug with Cyclops eye beams. 4. Avengers: Age of Ultron - Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver gain their powers through exposure to the Mind Stone, rather than being mutants (and, thus, having inborn powers), as they are in the comic books This difference was the result of the agreement between Disney and 20th Century Fox, for use of the characters in the MCU, since they, and “mutants” in general, were technically part of the X-Men intellectual property, the film rights to which were then held by Fox. ---
