> [@](#): > > Movies that showcase a city 1. _The Blues Brothers_ - Chicago 2. _Breaking Away_ - Bloomington, Indiana I’m not sure the city is ever named, but I went to high school and college there, and remained a number of years after, and there is no mistaking the city-- from the fact that it is one of the bikingest cities you’ll ever see, to the father eating pizza from a place that was local at the time (logo was on the box), and franchised out later, but IIRC, never outside Indiana, to the race itself-- not to mention that almost no soundstages were used-- the carwash was a real carwash locals would recognize-- the front of the family house was even real, and so were the quarry and all the campus locations. ---
