**Films in which a fictional American president is a main character (and who it is)** 1. Independence Day (Bill Pullman as President Thomas Whitmore) 2. Dave (Kevin Kline as President Bill Mitchell, and his doppelganger stand-in, Dave Kovic) 3. White House Down (Jamie Foxx as President James Sawyer) 4. The President’s Plane is Missing (Tod Andrews as President Jeremy Haines) Even though he isn’t seen in this film until the very end he is a very significant character/plot point in this made-for-TV movie, based on the novel by Robert J. Serling _(the brother of Rod Serling of **“Twilight Zone”** fame)_. However, if the consensus is that he needs to be the primal focus go ahead and replace this. _ **-“BB”-** _ ---
