**Films that have a lot of sequels and/or spin-offs** 1. _Despicable Me_ - four in the main series, and three _Minions_ movies 2. _Alien_ - Alien 1,2,3, and Alien Resurrection (2 centuries later), followed by two cross-over movies with the Predator franchise, two prequels and most recently stand alone story that takes place between the first two movies. 3. _Star Wars_ - the original trilogy, prequel trilogy, and sequel trilogy, all numbered with Roman numerals and called collectively “The Skywalker Saga”. Then we have an animated movie, _The Clone Wars_, which took place between episodes II and III and launched the animated series of the same name. We also have _Solo,_ _Rogue One,_ and now _The Mandalorian and Grogu._ 13 films in all, I think. And many TV series. ---
