But perfectly in character for an Alexander Payne movie. I think he goes for the combo of laughing hysterically and cringing out of your chair as his desired audience reaction.

My own contribution to this zombie is full frontal John Hurt in _1984_. As erotic as a concentration camp documentary. Which was the point, but still.

I think it was probably character development - to show that she is ‘one of the boys’ and won’t be intimidated by a few naked jocks.

Not total nudity, but more than enough. John Goodman taking a sauna in “The Gambler.”
