If you could have one piece of movie or TV memorabilia what would you want? For me its the Time Machine from the original movie. And from TV, I would love to have the portrait of Barnabas Collins from the classic Dark Shadows TV show. ---

For something that’s just a stock item I’d go for a Rockford car or the Route 66 Vette. For something more unique I’d like the original Batmobile. ---

When I was a kid I always wanted the mini USS Enterprise from Star Trek TOS, in the episode Catspaw. Doctor Doom’s mask, from the Roger Corman version of _The Fantastic Four._ The medal that Bela Lugosi wore on his neck in the Dracula movies. The portrait of Gene Tierney from _Laura._ The “Pink Panther” diamond. (Actually, I don’t want any of the movie props. I want a synthetic diamond or corundum, matching the specs described in the movies, with the panther laser-etched into the interior of the gem.) ---

There are a lot of good ones listed here. The other day something reminded me of _The Gods Must Be Crazy_ and I got to wondering what happened to the Evil Thing (a Coke bottle). I read a great story about it; can’t remember who the driver was, but he said that when his 917 broke down (even though he was leading Le Mans at the time) it was the happiest day of his life. ---
