I really liked the English subtitles of the Russian movies “Nightwatch” and “Daywatch”. They were very well integrated into the frame, not just “tacked on” after the movie was made. Different effects on the subtitles were used based on the action on the screen. For example, some subtitles were wiped off right to left as something in the scene (e.g., a person, a wall) passed over them.

I liked the English subtitles in [_Austin Powers in Goldmember._](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austin_Powers_in_Goldmember)
