I was never able to watch the whole thing, but I do recall that one of the scenes involved Bruce Willis having a wild ride on a stretcher in the back of an ambulance. He finally gets thrown around so much he goes down a steep embankment, where the bad guys are waiting for him. How did they know that he was going to show up there??? I think that’s when I walked away from the movie and declared it the stupidest thing I’d ever seen.

I maintain that the beauty of _Hudson Hawk_ is that it’s so wonderfully _aware_ of its contrivances. Yes, of course it’s rediculous for Kaplan and the Candy Bars to be waiting at the bottom of the embankment. The filmmakers know how stupid that is, and by recognizing this, you’re in on the joke. Once you realize that _Hudson Hawk_ owes you no explanations and isn’t going to give you any, it’s difficult to do anything but love such a marvelous train wreck of a film.

I think that was _Sliding_ Doors, but yeah, I remember when that one came out, and she had two haircuts.

sliding, revolving. yep. that was it. I think it defines the OP (the ENTIRE movie is based on that one event)

Using the different haircuts helped differentiate which version - also since she was a door mat in one…
