Movies - Boring to Great

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Superman (on right now, heh) – the whole Marlon-Brando-and-Susannah-York preface on Krypton is like a dead fish on ice, but from little Kal-El’s crash landing in the wheat field on, it’s movie magic.

**Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life **-- I actually appreciate the banking/pirates bit more now, but when I was a teen, this segment bored me silly.

[hijack] I highly recommend the book. Same basic story, but amazingly well told and a lot more detail and backstory. I love them both, but there are two completely distinct experiences, and having seen the movie does not ruin the reading.[/hijack]

Ah - I just got an amazon … Gutschein. Err. Gift certificate? Anyway, I’ll get it.
