Movies set (at least partly) at Christmas that aren't Christmas movies

Cary Grant and Tony Curtis. together at last:

Another one set during the Battle of the Bulge:

I think this one takes place over Christmas. It ends on New Year’s Day:

Scandal

The main story line in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang takes place in LA during Christmas time.

That’s the least joyful Christmas carol I’ve ever heard.

Yeah, but Robert Shaw makes a great Nazi!

Love Comes for Andy Hardy. I only know this because I just saw part of it and couldn’t get away. When I looked at the guy who played his dad, the judge, I guessed him to be about 80. Googling says he was only 59! They aged differently back then, I think.

It brought a tear to my eye…but maybe that was the Zyklon B.

How about The Long Kiss Goodnight with Genna Davis and Samuel L. Jackson? I think Genna Davis plays Mrs. Claus in a Christmas parade near the beginning.

The screenwriter Shane Black is famous for setting his screenplays at Christmas time. A few examples (some already mentioned):

Lethal Weapon
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Iron Man 3

Star Trek Generations has a Christmas scene when Picard is in the Nexus. I never understood why his family, who recently died in a fire at the beginning were not present.
