‘Crazy Larry, Dirty Mary’. It’s campy, silly and fun. Possibly the best line in any movie at one point. Anyone know it?😉 ---

I’ll vote for “Goldfinger”. A bizarre plot, a deadly hat/frisbee, a villain who lets Bond escape several times, and a main character with an amazingly crass name. But I still like it better than any Daniel Craig folderol. ---

Okay, you know those movies that your kids want to watch over and over and over? Well, in the late 80s/early 90s it was “Dad, can we stop at Uncle Al’s Video Emporium on the way home?” And I knew we’d be getting _Rat Race, The Rocketeer,_ or the animal-infested _Robin Hood_ for the 50th time. And yet, even though I’ve seen each of those dozens of times, they’re still great movies. Cites? _Blazing Saddles_ has a deranged, nearly non-existent plot. It revels in it’s own excess while taking us on a pointless journey of hilarious vulgarity. ---

I still love watching _Strange Brew_. I saw it like 46 times in the theatre back in 1983/84/85 and have seen it at least 100 times on home video since then. It’s got cheap production values, a ridiculous re-telling of _Hamlet_ for a plot and is basically just an SCTV sketch that is way overblown… but I love it. _Ernest Goes To Jail_ always does it for me too. ---

If a buddy of mine and I walk into a watering hole where we’re not known, he will often ask for an Elsinore beer. Some bartenders get it, but I’m always surprised at the number who don’t. ---

The effects are either badly dated or just bad, the acting ranges from nonexistent to completely over the top, with no middle ground, and it’s just generally silly. Oh, yeah, and the soundtrack is…unique. I _love_ it! I don’t know if it holds up for others, but it certainly does for me. (dundundundun FLASH! AH-AH!) ---
