You need to see it, it’s great in a 1970’s kind of way.
I gotta buy this movie on DVD.
“It’s all my imagination huh? And I suppose they didn’t put a computer chip in Latoya Jackson’s brain, she just acts like that.”
Kick-Ass also surprised me. I thought it was going to be a spoof movie on superheroes, parodying the genre itself in a mean spirited way but it actually had better action and more heart than most superhero movies I’ve seen.
Thanks for the link! We’re excited. ![]()
Yes, I think that’s the version I saw. 3 hours 40 minutes sounds about right.
Yep, then that is the re-constructed and repaired cut, which I’ve heard is quite the movie.
Wings of Hope by Werner Herzog.
Wow, this was a very interesting documentary about a lady who survived a 2-mile fall to become the only survivor of a plane crash in 1971. She was 17 and navigated her way through the Peruvian(I think) jungle for 10 days until she found rescuers. She had a maggot infested arm, a broken collar bone, and another injury on her leg.
Herzog takes her back to the jungle to find the plane and re-navigate her way through the jungle…and try to find the plane itself. It was in 2000 and the lady was up for it.
Fascinating and intense. Loved it.
Another, somewhat startled, appreciation for Speed Racer. Great movie.
