What are some movies that take place during the course of one night. Some that come to my mind are American Graffitti and Collateral, and the great After Hours. Hey it’s after hours, different rules apply. ---

Lots of’em. **Clerks**. **Mallrats**. Well, technically one day, not night - though **Clerks** was filmed at night. ElvisL1ves has the classic answer, though. Haven’t seen it, but \*\*One Night at McCool’s \*\* may also qualify. There was one of those party-people-looking movies that was a one-nighter… 200 **Cigarettes**? **Go**? **Evil Dead.** ---

_From Dusk to Dawn_ extends a bit past one night, but as the title implies most of it is in one night. _The Rocky Horror Picture Show_ is pretty much one night as well. ---

except that It Happened One Night does not take place over the course of one night. They get married and go back to the hotel to bring down the wall of Jeherico. I mean all of the action takes place over the course of one night. Ideally it should end with the sun coming up so Rope or films like that that just take place over a small ammount of time don’t really count either. ---

The 25th Hour is one day and one night. It ends with Ed Norton going to jail early in the morning(not a spoiler, it says so on the back of the video). ---

Die Hard takes place in one night, and I believe Die Hard 2 does as well. Rebel Without a Cause takes place over a 24-hour period, if that’s allowed to count. ---

Beyond a limited amount of setup, _Bachelor Party_ happens in one night. I think the first _Halloween_ movie was chiefly one night. Don’t know about the sequels. And _Night of the Living Dead_, of course. - Shibb, glad to bring you the lowbrow options. ---
