We’ll start with the new “Spiderman” movie. One of the opening scenes shows the webslinger spinning a net in between the two towers of the World Trade Center. NOT! Any other movies or shows that are going to have to be reshot or scrapped? [sup]MY FIST ‘CAFE SOCIETY’ THREAD![/sup] ---

Actually, the WTC trailer for _Spider-Man_ was just that – a trailer. Apparantly the scene was never intended to appear in the movie itself. Other movies that will be postponed: Arnold Schwartzenegger’s revenge-on-terrorists flick _Collateral Damage_ and the based-on-a-Dave-Barry-novel comedy _Big Trouble_. (I hope they release the latter eventually; the cast alone made it worth seeing.) I imagine the video and DVD releases for _ **Swordfish** _ will be delayed since Travolta’s character makes a comment about terrorists blowing up the World Trade Center. Bummer. I was really looking forward to owning that one. ---

Regarding the Swordfish thing, I don’t think it will be delayed. It wasn’t scheduled until 10/30, which is still 6 weeks from now. Tenebras [sub]Date from [http://www.dvdempire.com](http://www.dvdempire.com) although the most recent update tag says 9/7, I assume it’s still good.[/sub] ---

Has Fox shown any of their normal broadcast this week? I noticed that they _Didn’t_ show \*\* X-Files: Fight The Future\*\* last night as scheduled. It may have been coincidental, but that the movie has a building blow up in the first 20 minutes can’t have made them consider showing it… good thing I have it on video. ---

I wrote the person selling that poster and this is what I said: You [expletive deleted] jackass. Way to profit on others’ death and misery. I hope you never have to deal with a tragedy like this, but if you do I hope some other insensitive [expletive deleted] will sell price-inflated memorabilia of your own personal hell. And I don’t care if you flame me back. Go right on ahead, I’m waiting for it. That just makes me sick. ---

God that guy is so full of s\*%t. The posters are in the theatres and so are banners. What you should do is let the studio know that this pin-head theatre manager is selling their property. ---

They are planning on reshooting the end of **Men in Black 2** where the WTC was fetured prominently. Don’t forget that in **Collateral Damage** , Arnold is a _fire fighter_ fighting against terrosits who killed his wife and child. Also, Fox canceled a showing of **Independence Day** on television this weekend. ---
