> I’m somewhat dating myself, but I’d say that [**Red Dawn**](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087985/) could be worked into a feasable series. Telling the story from a kid’s point of view how WWIII played out.
>
> Good for character development over the series. Chances for awesome firefights with those damned Soviets. And lots of potential for that USA! factor.

> Well, it popped into my mind since I saw the rerun this past weekend.

Might work- if kids these days had any idea what Soviets were!

I loved that movie when it came out (I was a Bircher then) & it may have been a good series in the Reagan years, but 1989 ended any chance of that.

It would have been better than that ABC Amerika thing, which had a good beginning & ending but was way too drawn out in the middle.

I would submit that you are correct, but that you neglect the adult population that has _seen_ Soviet Russia, “Red Dawn” and “Amerika”.

I would still maintain that an ‘Amerkia’ series based on the point-of-view from some partians would be something I’d watch.

[Off topic]
I’m desperately looking for the complete “Amerika” series. I happened to be on vacation back in '87 when it aired.

Can someone hook me up?
[/Off Topic]

Tripler
I’d be very, very grateful.
