# Movies: What scares the crap out of you?

YES! Totally awful, unscary movie as a whole, but the beginning was actually quite creepy. One of the scariest parts was that truck the monster (or whatever it was supposed to be) drove. Much scarier than any of the gory stuff, IMO.

Clive Barker’s THE HELLBOUND HEART, much scarier than the Hellraiser movies made from it.

Harold Schechter’s real-life serial killer books (DEVIANT- Ed Gein, DERANGED- Albert Fish, DEPRAVED- H.H. Holmes, etc.)

Aphrodite Jones CRUEL SACRIFICE- teen girl lesbian triangle occult-tinged torture killing- IN MY HOMETOWN!!! :eek: :eek: :eek:

I had to look it up on Amazon to be sure, but I figured you were talking about the murder of Shanda Sharer. I read [the story on Crime Library](http://www.crimelibrary.com/notorious_murders/young/shanda_sharer/1.html) and nearly threw up. A horrific, inhuman crime.
