We’ve all wished the good guy would recieve a horrible death in a movie from time to time. Maybe we don’t agree with the Heros politics, maybe he reminds you of someone you don’t like, or maybe you’re just in a bad mood. I watched **Amadeus** tonight, and after witnessing what a spoiled brat Mozart was, I wanted Abraham to make short work of him. He had an obnoxious laugh, he cheated on his fiancee, he reminded me of a few other people I didn’t like, and dagnabit, I just didn’t like him.

Other movies include:

**Agent Sandes in Once Upon a Time in Mexico** : One of my all time favorite movie characters. I just found him to be very evil and hystericaly funny. I didn’t want the good guys to lose per se, I just wanted Sands to stay alive so I could keep laughing. I’ll piss myslef in joy if I hear word that Robert Rodrigueze’s next movie centers around Sands.

**Home Alone 3** : I loved Home Alone 1 & 2, but 3 was just horrible. HA 1 & 2 were family movies, but 3 was just a really bad kid movie whose moral was that Alex D. Linz was a cute kid with blond hair and blue eyes who could do no wrong! BAH! I wanted the crooks to knock the kid out cold and sell him to a Thai slave ship.
and that’s all I can think of. If any of this isn’t spelled out correctly, is incoherent, or just seems wrong…well I just got done with an all nighter of SOCOM 2. We just got out of a very long intense clan war. When we won the other teams clan leader got so pissed he yelled at us for a good 5 mintues. He must of had a turbo controller since none of us could interrupt his speaking. Hysterical! Awesome temawork on behalf of my clan though. Anyways, I just wanted to make a post so I have something to read after I wake up and I am curious as to what kind of responses I’ll get.

Jurassic Park II: The Lost World. I particularly wanted Vince Vaughn’s character to die a horrible, painful death.

My favourite movie endings where the “bad guys” are the heroes and you have grown to love 'em are :

**Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid** I bet every shot missed them.

**The Italian Job** I mean the proper one with Michael Caine - his idea works.

**Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels** He grabs them somehow.

Second that, and Julienne Moore’s character wasn’t that much better, either. The only really likeable person in the movie was Pete Postelwaithe - I would have easily watched an entire movie aout him hunting dinosaurs.

I honestly don’t know what Spielberg was thinking with that movie.

How can you forget **Superman IV: The Quest for Peace**. Awful film, the only reason you want Lex Luthor to win is in hopes the movie will be over sooner.

Not a movie, but the A&E miniseries of **Ivanhoe**. Brian de Bois-Gilbert was nasty, brutal, and coarse, but damn me if I didn’t want the guy to win the trial by combat against Ivanhoe (who was booooring) and win Rebecca’s heart. The poor guy was so tormented, I was really hoping that he’d be redeemed at the end. You could see he wanted to be good but was just stuck in a pattern of evil-doing and self-hatred. Rebecca should have caved. I would have.

_ **Out for Justice** _ or just about any Steven Segal movie these days. The little masterbatory fantasy scene where he goes through the bar taking everyone out. I **so** wanted someone to hit him in the back of the head with a hurled beer bottle or the entire bar just to jump him all at once and beat the living sh\*t out of him.

Can’t think of specific ones offhand, but there are plenty of movies where I get so tired of the so-called protagonist so fast that I just wish they’d lose the fight, get killed by a sniper, whatever. Be an awfully short movie, but then, perhaps we need a film-festival for such things.

_ **Protagonists who don’t deserve to live…and don’t.** _ a short film collection.

Francis Ford Coppola’s _Dracula_– how could you root for drippy, annoying Jonathan Harker (played by Keanu Reeves, who was wooden enough to be used to kill vampires) when Gary Oldman as Dracula was more appealing in every possible way? If I were Mina and had to choose between those two, it’d be a no-brainer.

Not a movie, but had to include this:

Theatrical urban legend has it that back in the 80s, when she was still trying to have an actual career, famed crappy actress Pia Zadora starred in the title role of _Anne Frank_, in, no less, a Florida dinner theater.

She was apparently so atrocious that toward the end of one performance, when the Nazis burst in the ground floor of the house, a voice was heard to cry out from the audience:“She’s in the attic!!”

[The Haunting.](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0171363/) What a terrible movie. I’ve never laughed so hard at scenes that were supposed to be scary. I cheered when Owen Wilson’s character bought it. I just wish they’d all died horribly at the end.

**scotandrsn,** This thread made me think of the Pia story also. Alas, snopes says [the story is untrue.](http://www.snopes.com/movies/actors/zadora.htm)
Too bad, cuz it’s a great story.

_[The Watcher](http://www.thewatchermovie.com/)_

The ‘good’ protagonist - the cop played by James Spader - was written as such a neurotic, unlikable guy that I was cheering for the serial killer the whole way through the movie, just because he came off as being the more likable character.

I’ve tried to get you on my SOCOM friends list, but we haven’t been on at the same time yet. I’ll keep trying.

And I’m totally with you on the “Once Upon a Time in Mexico” - he was, by far, the most entertaining character in that movie.

My most hated movie - _The Blair Witch Project_. I so wanted to jump into the screen and kill them all myself.

I really wish the badguy had won that one …

I can’t add you either :-/
When’s the next time you figure you’ll be on? I’ll be on at 11:00 eastern time tonight, but I can be on earlier. Oh and when you do add me, I’ll be able to see you on my buddy list, but you won’t be able to see me on your buddy list. I’m not sure why, but no one can see me online. But I’ll play with you whenever I see you on, or at least message you and tell you where I am.

**Mommie Dearest**. Especially since I know the book it was based on was 75% fiction, I wanted Joan Crawford/Faye Dunaway to beat little Christina to death with a wire hanger, make her into an amusing little stew and serve her up at a potluck with Bette Davis and Marlene Dietrich as guests.

**The Craft**

I disliked the protagonist and wanted Fairuza Balk’s character (Nancy) to kill her. I found all the characters pretty unlikable, but the main character I liked least. I wouldn’t have thought someone with so little personality could annoy me so much. Nancy was a bitch in her own right and I’d hate her if she wasn’t terrorizing someone I liked less.
