I don’t mean things like “Lord of the Rings” or “Harry Potter” or “The Matrix” or “Star Trek” – i.e., pre-existing franchises. What I mean are movies whose title made you say, “I’ve gotta see that” even though it was something you hadn’t heard of before. For instance, how could you resist something titled [Jesus Christ, Vampire Hunter](http://www.digitallyobsessed.com/showreview.php3?ID=4276)? What others can you think of? ---

**Death To Smoochy**. Actually, I haven’t seen this yet, but I really want to. **Flirting With Disaster**. Good title, excellent comedy. **Being John Malkovich**. Scary title, excellent film. **The Royal Tennenbaums**. Magisterial title, but somewhat disappointing. **Star Wars: The Phantom Menace**. Franchise title, by turns excellent and horrible. ---
