Hoffa
The Santa Clause.
What?
Garbo Talks

Thought of another one:
Adolf Hitler, my part in his downfall

MacArthur’s Children
Jesus of Montreal
Battleship Potemkin
Bram Stoker’s Dracula (Hey, a two-fer, since it’s not a factual biography of either man!)
Andy Warhol’s Dracula (ditto)
Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla.
Pssst, Krokodil, Dracula isn’t a real person (unless you mean Vlad the Impaler, but the resemblance is tenuous in the context of the movie).
Psst, jjimm, “Dracula” refers to both an actual historical figure and to a fictional character tenuously based on him. There was an historical Dracula, but not an historical Frankenstein’s Monster. There was an historical St. Nicholas/Sinterkloss/Santa Claus, but no corresponding historical Easter Bunny. There was an historical Elliot Ness, Cyrano deBergerac and Daniel Boone who bore passing resemblance to their fictional counterparts, but no historical Tarzan, D’Artagnan or Hoss Cartwright.
I stand by my Dracula reference. Actual person whose name was affixed to a movie that wasn’t a biopic of that actual person. You’re welcome.
Amd add to the list: I Love You Alice B. Toklas
Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. The movie was a fantasy but I believe the person was real.
What about Jesus Christ Superstar?
Patton.
Batman
Jackass: The Movie
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Mrs. Soffel
The Devil in Miss Jones
The Devil and Max Devlin
Beat the Devil
(Hey, if Jesus Christ Superstar counts so do these)
Would “JFK” count? After all, it’s not a Kennedy biopic.
