Come on; you know what I mean. You’re flipping through TV channels, and you come across a movie you’ve seen at least ten times. And you stop. You get caught up in a particular scene, and the next thing you know, you’ve watched the whole movie. Again. I’ll throw out a few of mine: [ul] [li]The Cowboys[/li][li]Jaws[/li][li]Breaking Away[/li][li]True Grit[/li][li]Alien[/li][li]American Graffitti[/li][li]Lawrence of Arabia[/li][li]The Magnificent Seven[/li][/ul] A lot of “guy movies” in there I guess, but hey, I’m a guy. What do you expect? There are more, but some of 'em get kind of embarrassing. (Think John Hughes.) Your list? ---

1. The Matrix (I bought two copies of the DVD, the normal and the Limited Ed. w/soundtrack) 2. Indiana Jones - any of the three 3. The Fifth Element (do NOT watch it as a serious movie and it rocks 🙂 ) 4. Demon City: Shinjuku (I’ve got a thing for Mephisto) 5. Star Wars, any of the original 3. 6. Monty Python and the Holy Grail 7. The Heroic Trio (ok, Michelle Yeoh too) 8. Highlander 2: the RENEGADE version only (and H 1) 9. Brazil, the Final Final Cut (the director’s pick thing) 10. I gotta admit any move that’s got Johnny Depp in it, I get glued to the set…it is true, (even though there aren’t too many movies with him in it) oh…and also some of the classic Hitchcock movies as well. ---

Definitely the Princess Bride, also Priscilla Queen of the Desert Muriel’s Wedding Last of the Mohicans (just to get a glimpse of Daniel Day lewis’s upper thighs when he is running up that hill near the end. drool drool) Evita Must be others I can’t think of. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off 10. Breakfast at Tiffany’s And the embarrassing ones: 1. Legend 2. Force 10 from Navarone 3. Friday the 13th (the first one only) 4. Little Darlin’s 5. Silverado 6. 16 Candles 7. Pretty in Pink 8. Some Kind of Wonderful there are probably others, but I think teh above will do for now. ---
