Thanks for the reminder: I found E. Marcone music from “The Mission” ; knowing nothing else about the movie, I now really, really need to see it. I like it that much. Yes, it _sounds_ like soundtrack music, but…maybe I shouldn’t see the movie, after all. Perhaps my imagination is better. 😉 Here’s Marcone, conducting it. Agreeing wit JayJay… I love the music from the Rocky Horror Picture Show! Certainly not the only thing I love about it, but top five. Also A Knight’s Tale. Kick ass soundtrack. More recently… LOVE the Dark Shadows movie music! ---

The OP immediately calls to mind a more recent flick **Sucker Punch**. I personally really enjoyed the movie itself (not a universally shared opinion apparently) but the soundtrack is just superb. ---

The soundtrack to _Star Trek II_ is so good that you can listen to it without watching the movie and still get it. James Horner is quite the movie composer. ---
