# Moving my thread to the Pit

Threads get moved to The Pit. It happens.

People have protested this before (see [here](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=855009) and [here](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=881846)), but no policy has been enacted against it.
