# Moxy Fruvous anyone?

I was just listening to a musical group of this name when, for some reason, it occurred to me to wonder what _Moxy Fruvous_ actually means. Is it Latin or something?

If you spell Moxy as “Moxie,” you’ll find that it’s the name of a strong tasting soft drink, as well as a sort of courageous attitude.

Thanks **Alice**! I was just introduced to them the other night by friends and the subject of the origin of their name came up.
Great stuff! reminiscient of **They Might Be Giants**.
