I agree with the need to rename the forum. LOL, if it makes you feel any better, they didn’t do it when I suggested it (rather naively) when I was a brand new mod, either. 😉 I do have a better appreciation now for the emotional attachment some long-timers on the board have to the old name now, but I agree it’s time to make the change. ---

It’s obviously pronounced “MPSIMS”, but if you want to pronounce it “MPSIMS”, or “MPSIMS”, or even “MPSIMS”, that’s fine by me. ---

I had a friend who we all called MPS. It was short for Mister Peter Sims. AKA MPSims. Just thought I would add something mundane and pointless to this thread, as tribute to its name change. ---

Inclusive “or” is the only kind English recognizes. Menus (“soup or salad”) and Math are not routine English. ---

You can choose a soup or salad as course. The section of the menu from where you can make the choice is called Soups and Salads. ---

I suppose we _could_ create three categories: 1. Mundane AND Pointless … 2. Mundane OR Pointless OR Both … 3. Mundane Or Pointless But NOT Both … So MAPSIMS, MOPOBSIMS, and MOPBNBSIMS. Or should that be MAPSIMS, MOPOBSIMS, _or_ MOPBNBSIMS. Hmm. 😉 ---
